Increasing Composting by Carleton University Undergraduate Students

A professor at Carleton University requested support in informing a research question around waste for her social sciences course, “Introduction to Qualitative Research Methods”. The research question she suggested was “How can the City of Ottawa increase composting by Carleton University undergraduate students?”. An OETN advisor was connected with the Carleton University professor  and they had several meetings to discuss the research question. The advisor also attended one of the course classes in order to participate in an undergraduate student focus group regarding composting.
