The Carp Ridge Learning Centre wanted to designate a section of their property to be used for natural world learning but they wanted to ensure that sensitive habitat was not disturbed in the process. Ottawa Eco-Talent Network connected them with an advisor who was a naturalist to help plan the education trails while minimizing their environmental impact.

Trails were complete in November 2017.
